FREMONT, Minn. – Plainly Tyler David Loomies didn’t appreciate being stopped for drunken driving. He spit on the deputy who stopped him, according to the deputy. The deputy said Loomis, 28, of La Crosse, had been operating a vehicle off the road three miles southwest of Fremont near County Road 33 and County Road 6. Recommended charges: Driving drunk, refusing a blood-alcohol test, resisting arrest, and assaulting a peace officer. The arrest was about 12:45 a. m.
