ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Rochester man was arraigned for the stabbing of a visiting neighbor in his apartment. Brian Heang, 24, was charged with felony assault. The victim said he and Heang got into an argument and that Heang went to the kitchen and came back with a 10-inch to 12-inch butcher knife. The man said he was leaving when Heang stabbed him. The man went back to his own apartment and called 911.This was about 9 p.m. Monday. Police got the victim to an emergency room, then talked with Heang. They said Heang admitted swinging the knife but idn’t think he hit the neighbor. The knife, police said, was in the kitchen sink.
