ST. PAUL, Minn. – The state Public Facilities Authority issued a $1.3 million low-interest loan to improve Caledonia’s municipal drinking water infrastructure. The grant will help fund wellhouse improvements and a new water main and natural gas generator. The 20-year loan will save local taxpayers $12,000 in interest compared to market-rate alternatives, said State Senator Jeremy Miller, R-Winona.
