STEWARTVILLE, Minn. – A Stewartville man was knifed and critically hurt during a confrontation in his apartment. Deputies did not release the man’s name immediately but said he was 42 and lived at 105 South Main Street. The stabbing was about 2 p.m. The man was stabbed in the face and one arm. He was taken to a Rochester emergency room. Deputies said a woman who witnessed the stabbing identified the stabber as an acquaintance of the victim.
