WINONA, Minn. – A Winona man was booked for receiving stolen property after police stumbled across him unloading a heavy-duty Army Corps power generator from his truck. Police said that Jorden Matthew Gardner, 26, explained that he had received the generator from his from his brother. The machine, a wheeled device that would need two people to lift, had been reported missing in August from an Army Corps dredging site near Dick’s Marina on Latsch Island. The arrest vas about 4:15 p.m. in the 1050 block of East Fifth Street.
