NEW YORK – A list of communities with the fastest growth in COVID-13 cases nationwide included Winona as Number 8. The New York Times, which compiled the list, noted that Winona County recorded 144 cases in the previous seven days. Per 100,000 residents, Winona scored 240, the Times reported. The list indicates where “there may be bad news ahead” in non-metropolitan parts of the nation. Topping the list:
