LAMOILLE, Minn. – A 911 caller said told he sheriff’s dispatcher that he had been on the phone with an acquaintance who was threatening suicide and then heard a gunshot. A deputy went to an address up Miner Valley Road and found a 35-year-old man deceased. The deputy said that no foul play seemed involved, but the regional medical examiner in Rochester was asked to evaluate the situation. The death was near Twin Bluffs about 12 miles downriver from Winona.
