ELBA, Minn. — Deputies were called to a car wreck west of Elba and found the vehicle. but no one was around. Deputies determined that the driver, a juvenile, had been taken 20 miles to a Rochester hospital. Reportedly he had an ankle injury. The accident was reported to the Winna police dispatcher about 6:40 a.m. The site: County Road 36 on the Whiskey Peak ridge incline near Larson Road.
