BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – An 18-year-old died after a firework exploded in his face in this northwest Minneapolis suburb. Police said a friend was attempting resuscitation when they arrived. The teen died at a hospital from severe face and head injuries. The explosion was about 1:30 a.m.
