GRAND CHUTE, Wis. – A 19-year-old man was shot and killed at a suburban mall near Appleton. Police identified the victim as Jovanni J. Frausto. Police said the shooting appeared to be a targeted attack with no widespread public endangerment. A second person, however, was wounded but not seriously. The shooting was in the 120-storw mall’s central corridor about 3:30 p.m. The Fox River Mal was in lockdown three hours. Management said the mall would be closed Monday out of respect for the victims, their families, and mall employees, the exception being stores with outside entrances.
