GOODVIEW, Minn. – A fire that threatened a Goodview neighborhood two weeks ago has been blamed tentatively on a mist of flammable propane that was ignited by a spark from a forklift on a loading dock. An employee on the loading dock was emptying a propane canister, per protocol, when the ignition occurred, Scott Myran, president of Mississippi Welders Supply, told the Winona Post. One employee was singed in the explosion as the fire spread to other propane canisters. Firefighters evacuated several neighboring structures for fear of further explosions.
