DAKOTA, Minn. — A landowner in the 45000 block of County Road 12, up the bluffs from Dakota, reported that 100 trees had been cut without permission. Deputies were given the name of the suspected logger. Trees delivered to a sawmill can fetch $30 to $500, depending on size and quality, hardwoods going for much more than pine and other softwoods.
