BEACHES CORNER, Wis. – Four people went to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash two miles north of Beaches Corner at the odd-angled confluence of County Road CC from Ettrick and Highway 53. The injuries didn’t appear life-threatening. Deputies said a southbound vehicle on Highway 53 was waiting to turn east onto CC when it was struck from behind. The first vehicle was pushed into the northbound lane of 53, where it was struck by a third vehicle. Deputies listed the injured persons as Jason L. Pieper, Gary H. Schlangen, and Steven and Lori Hare.
