WINONA, Minn. – A light blanket of snow fell in Winona County but hardly enough to break out the plows. To the north in the Twin Cities, streets crews were plowing in full force. Also, the National Weather Service issued a winter advisory through 6 p.m. for Dodge, Olmsted and Wabasha counties in Minnesota and Buffalo County in Wisconsin – and points farther north. Snow there was predicted at one to two inches.
