WINONA, Minn. – Firefighters rescued a seriously injured bicyclist trapped under a falling tree in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood. It took airbags and chainsaws to free the man. Terry Erickson, 66, was taken to the Winona hospital and then airlifted to a La Crosse hospital. Two people out for an evening walk near Links Lane said they heard a tree cracking and then found the man pinned underneath.
