WINONA, Minn. — A downed tree in the 100 block of Lohse Drive in West Burns Valley landed on a power line and caught fire about 7 a.m. Firefighters stood by until an Xcel utility crew arrived and sawed off the burning part of the tree. Firefighters then extinguished the embers. The tree had fallen because the ground was softened by rain the day before.
