KELLOGG, Minn. – A Rollingstone driver and her passenger escaped serious injury when their vehicle went out of control between Kellogg and Weaver on U.S. Highway 61. Tanisha Newson, 29, and Xavier Cortex Davis, 28, of Memphis, Tennessee, were taken to the Wabasha hospital to be checked out. Deputies said they were headed north, toward Kellogg, when their 2004 Chevrolet Blazer crossed oncoming traffic in the four-lane section , overturned and and hit a tree. No other cars were involved. Deputies said alcohol was a factor. The accident was about 11:45 a.m.
