WINONA, Minn. – Three vehicles collided at the accident-plagued Highway 61 exit to Gilmore Avenue and West Service Road near Altra Credit Union. One driver suffered minor injuries. Police said a 2017 Jeep Compass was southbound Highway 61. A 2016 Chevrolet Colorado was northbound, turning left. A 2016 GMC Yukon was eastbound on Gilmore. The Jeep driver, Brianna Lee Rongitsch, 30, of Inver Grove Heights, went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Unhurt were the Chevrolet driver, Gary Lee Stevens, 68, of Winona, and the GMC driver, Cory Ray Corcoran, 43, of Minnesota City.  Airbags deployed in all three vehicles, police said. There have been complaints since the intersection was rebuilt in 2019 that eastbound Gilmore needs a stop sign, although police were unclear whether that was a factor. Conditions were dry. The accident was about 8:40 a.m.
