BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. – While a state trooper as investigating an accident, a frightened service dog in a car ran off. With help from the Jackson County Humane Society, the trooper was found the dog and made sure she got home safely. The State Patrol delighted in telling the story and posting a photograph but declined to identify the trooper hero of the story other than as as Officer Aguilar. Modesty, you know. Nice going, Aguilar.
