NODINE, Minn. – An 18-wheeler lost control on snow and ice on Interstate 90 and jack-knifed into the path of a sedan. The driver of the sedan, Serah A Barr, 31, of Rockford, Illinois, was taken 21 miles to a LaCrosse hospital. Her injuries appeared not to be life-threatening. The accident was about 9:50 p.m. in the westbound I-90 lanes atop Four Mile Grade. The driver of the Freightliner semi-truck, Simon Tesfay Eqube, 21, of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, was unhurt.
