WASHINGTON – Counties that favored Donald Trump for president have had greater coronavirus outbreaks, according to an analysis by the Associated Press. The AP checked the 376 counties with the highest number of new cases per capita. An overwhelming majority, 93%, gave large majorities to Trump. Most were rural in the Dakotas, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, Kansas and Wisconsin —areas generally with less respect to social distancing, mask-wearing and other public health measures.
