WASHINGTON – Under pressure from city leaders in LaCrosse. President Donald Trump cancelled a rally scheduled for LaCrosse Saturday. Instead the rally will be 175 miles away in Janesville. LaCrosse Mayor Tim Kabat had called on Trump to cancel or delay the rally, which risked becoming a coronavirus superspreader event. There also was an obstacle from the LaCrosse airport. The owner of the rally site, a private hangar, was informed his lease didn’t permit such an event.
