WINONA, Minn. – Prospects for Winona State University basketball next season slipped a couple notches.  Guards Alec Rosner, a junior, and Nick Klug, also a junior, are leaving. Rosner entered the transfer portal in order to explore “a new potential opportunity.” Speculation is Division I. Rosner averaged 18.8 points a game on 49% shooting this season. He was named to all- conference first team. Meanwhile, Klug announced his intent to enter the transfer portal. Klug has a deadly outside shot but didn’t get as many minutes on the court as he wanted. He’s expected to stay in Division I.

Rosner. 6-foot-3. Northern Sun all-conference first team.

Klug. 6-foot-1. Didn’t get minutes he wanted on court.
