BLUFF SIDING, Wis. – Two teenagers, a boy 16 and a girl 15, were injured fatally when two cars collided head-on at the crest of a hill on a back road behind Bluff Siding. The girl was dead at the scene. The boy died at the Winona hospital. Buffalo County Sheriff MikeOsmond did not release the names immediately. A rescue crew from Fountain City used airbags to lift the vehicle to free a third teenager, who was trapped in the wreckage. This boy, 17, was taken seven miles by ambulance to the Winona hospital. The second vehicle, deputies said, was driven by a 51-year-old woman. She was out of her vehicle with only minor injuries when rescuers arrived. She was the only occupant of her vehicle, deputies said. . The collision was about 6:30 p.m.
