ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Rochester woman, Joharmi Rubio, 24, died in a traffic collision in the Schmidt Park neighborhood. Police sad Rubio was in a car turning onto 18th Avenue Northwest from Crimson Ridge Drive when it was struck by a Jeep. She suffered a head injury and died at the scene. Her husband, Luis Rubio Lunar, 27, was taken to a hospital. The Jeep ended on its side and the driver, Matthew Shaver, 27, who police said was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected. He was hospitalized with serious injuries.
