WINONA, Minn. — A driver being pursued by a police officer out of the Kwik Trip on West Fifth Street kept going despite flashing lights and then the siren. This is the officer’s account: A few blocks away, on South Baker Street, the driver fled into a house. The officer knocked on the door. A woman answered. She said the driver wasn’t there, that he had jumped out a back window. The officer, however, saw the man through the door. Rayshun Boler, 44, was arrested. The whole episode began at the Kwik Trip because the officer recognized Boler as having a cancelled driving license. Also the car’s license wasn’t properly tagged. Boler was cited as driving inimical to public safety.
