WINONA, Minn. – Somebody cut into trees at the small neighborhood Belmont-Whitten Park on the Far West End, dooming the trees to die from lack of nutrients to branches. The cuts were discovered by park employees in making their rounds, police said. Damaged were three trees, their value estimated at $1,200.
