MINNEAPOLIS — A nurse at the Veterans Affairs hospital was the first in Minnesota to receive a COVID-19 inoculation. Thera Witte, 37, who works in a coronavirus unit, said she felt honored to be the first. She said she didn’t hesitate to volunteer. Her dose was among 2,925 arriving in Minnesota and dispatched to the VA , the Sanford clinic in Bemidji, the Olmsted clinic in Rochester, and the tribal clinic in Cass Lake.
