WABASHA, Minn. — Lane closures begin Monday on the two-lane Mississippi River truss bridge linking Wabasha and Nelson and western Wisconsin, the state Transportation Department said. Wabasha streets under the bridge will be closed: East Lawrence, Main and Second. streets. The closures, which are scheduled into September, will allow crews to replace expansion joints and to paint the bridge.
