PIGEON FALLS, Wis. – A construction worker was half-buried when a wall fell at the site of a Dollar General store being built on Highway 53. The man, 26, was pinned under the concrete blocks from the torso down. Rescuers with shovels, excavating equipment and air bags freed him. He was flown 35 miles to an Eau Claire hospital. This was about 4:30 p.m.
