ST.PAUL, Minn. – Gentle ribbing or stabbing? Governor Tim Walz, who has closely allied himself with President Biden, isn’t exactiy enamored at the moment with fellow Minnesota Democrat Dean Phillips. After Phillips announced he will challenge Biden’s expected 2024 re-election bid, Walz said:
“You know, I have to say this about Minnesota: It’s a great state full of great people. And sometimes they do crazy things. And sometimes they make political side shows for themselves.”
About whether these Minnesotan bids for president were also sideshows, Walz didn’t say:
