ROCHESTER, Minn. – A warrant was issued for a St. Paul man whom police say helped steal $80,000 from the Asian Food Store in northwest Rochester in November. Richard Holston , 43, was described in court documents as a career thief. In the heist, according to surveillance video, three men smashed a window to get inside the store. This was 7:45 a.m. They took the cash, a safe, a checkbook, a death certificate and a truck title. The video showed the license plate on the get-away car, which turned out to be a rental. The rental company had Holston’s phone number, police said. Cell phone records confirmed he was in Rochester at the time of the smash-and-grab break-in. His accomplices have yet to be identified, police said.
