MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Elections Commission staff stood ready to review petitions for rap celebrity Kanye West to be on the state’s November ballot for president. Law requires 2,000 signatures. Commission spokesman Reid Magney said that if a challenge is filed, the six-member Election Commission would decide whether West goes on the ballot. The deadline for a challenge is 4:30 p.m., Friday. Commissioners then would have until August 26 to decide, Magney said.
