WHITEHALL Wis. – Trempealeau County officials broke ground for a $38 million building to house county administrative offices. the courts, the sheriff’s office, and jail. The Justice Center, as it’s called, will be next to the existing county facility. The design includes two courtrooms for jury trials and a 78-inmate jail. Construction is expected to take two years. The project is expected to take two years.
