ROCHESTER, Minn. – A man drowned in a backyard swimming pool in a the Marion neighborhood southeast of Rocheste. Deputies received a call about 6:15 p.m. and found a woman attempting cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The deputies took over but could not revive the man. The wife said she found her husband. James Sackett, 60 on the bottom of the pool after he had not responded to her calls from inside the house. Foul play was not suspected, deputies said. This was in the 1000 block of Brookfield Court Southeast.
