WINONA, Minn. – The county emergency management director, Ben Klinger, said there has been a team approach with health organizations to administer Co-Vid vaccines as they become available. Klinger said at a pandemic forum that there have regular planning meetings since October. Mass testing was used early to figure out how to hold vaccination events, Klinger said. He said that more than 300 emergency medical employees and first-responders in the county have received at least one vaccination and some have had boosters. Who’s next? “We’re ready to go here locally,” Klinger said. “We’re just in need of the vaccine,” he said.
