WINONA, Minn. – Eleven new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Winona County by the state Department of Health, making the nine-month pandemic total 1,199. The total would have been 1,200 were it not for one case being withdrawn. This kind of adjustment usually is due either to an incorrect residency d having been recorded, a false positive, or accidental case duplication. With no new COVID-19 deaths, the county fatality count remained 18.
