WINONA, Minn. – The chief executive at Winna Health surmised in an interview that national CoVid vaccine distribution problems may be due to infrastructure bottlenecks. The Trump goal of 20 million doses nationwide by the end January fell short by 80% Rachelle Shultz, speaking on radio station KWNO, said the shortfall could be due to a lack of storage space and infrastructure at vaccination sites. That’s not an issue at Winona Health, Schultz said. “Our process has gotten very efficient,” she said. “We’ve expanded our space for the monitoring period for waiting.” Winona Health has the capacity to vaccinate 150 to 200 people per day as more doses become available. “Right now 62% of our vaccine has been distributed, so we are getting quite a few folks through it,” she said.
