WINONA, Minn. – A Winona High School defensive back, Trent Langowski, signed a letter of intent to play at Concordia University in St. Paul. Langowski called Concordia “a good fit.” Concordia reached out to him in December – his first offer. As a Winona Winhawk he made the All-District Big Southeast first team his sophomore year with 45 tackles and four interceptions. As a junior in the  Co-Vid shortened 2020 season, Langowski again made the All-District team. He had 24 tackles in five games — 10 of them solo. He had three interceptions at defensive back and 156 yards receiving and two touchdowns on 10 receptions at wide receiver.

The Concordia Golden Bears are aDivision II college in the Southern Division of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. The division’s win-loss records since the division was created created in 2008:
