WINONA, Minn. – A Winona man was jailed after a pushing incident that seemed to violate a court order against contacting a former woman friend. The victim said she was pushed in the face by Kyle Elliot Paulson, 39, during an argument and fell, hurting her face and back. Police responding to the incidents said the woman was wincing in pain but declined medical attention. She told officers also that she suffered a medical condition that affected her balance. After the incident, she said, Paulson retreated to a garage. When police found him the next morning, Paulson claimed he had no idea why they were looking for him. Regardless, he was jailed for violating a court-ordered no contact domestic order.
