NEW HARTFORD, Minn. — Rescue teams began third day of scouring wildland near deep hardwood forests for a missing LaCrosse man. Ben Klinger, Winona County emergency director, renewed his call for tips about places to check for 22-year-old Elijah McCumber. Klinger asked, however, that the public not join the organized search itself, which could be dangerous in difficult terrain with thickening underbrush.
