KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Winona State University golfers finished one stroke ahead of Bemidji State to win the Northern Sun men’s championship. The victory put the Warriors an into the NCAA Division II regionals. To win the Northern Sun crown, the Warriors overcame a five-shot deficit by shooting a third-round four-over 288. It was Winona State’s second consecutive conference title. For the three-day tournament, at Shoal Creek Golf Club. the Warriors delivered team rounds of 301-294-288 for a team total of 31-over-par 883. Bemidji State finished 32 over par, Sioux Falls at 34.
