WINONA, Minn. — Winona State has joined other MinnState System universities by waiving the $20 fee to apply for admission. Tania Schmidt, the university’s chief recruiter, said the free deal is through October. Schmift said also that prospective students can visit campus October 20 and 21 for 30-minute guided walking tours. Group and individual meetings can be arranged to discuss academic programs, scholarships, and campus life, she said.
