LACROSSE, Wis. – After nearly 30 years reporting the news, it can be said that Scott Hackworth knows LaCrosse well. He’s retiring November 6 as anchor for WXOW. Hackworth joined the station in 1991. Earlier, after graduating from Oklahoma State University, he was at KJRH in Tulsa, KSNF in Joplin, Missouri, and KCRG in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. At WXOW he earned several the Associated Press awards, including a team award for 9-11 coverage in 2001.
