WINONA, Minn. — Moderate flooding on the Mississippi River can be expected this week, but nothing more than seasonally usual, according to the National Weather Service. A high of 15.2 feet in Winona was predicted, which mostly would affect Prairie Island Park. Flood stage is 13 feet. The city has begun precautionary pumping.
