BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. – Just when Jackson County dairy farmers were pretty much confident that the last wolf had been eradicated, Torrence Riek and his wife Kayle spotted one. They were hunting Thanksgiving morning and spotted a wolf. The wolf, as Riek tells it and caught on video, saw them too and turned and slowly starting creeping their way. About 30 yards out the wolf turned away. Said Riek: “A cool experience.”
