WINONA, Minn. – Improvement projects approved by voters in 2018 for Winona schools are almost completed and $950,000 under budget, according to buildings and grounds director Mike McArdle. Voters had approved $9,4 million. Completed projects included:

> Parking lot resurfacing at the high school, middle school and Goodview.

> New accessible ramps and secure vestibules at Jefferson and Washington-Kosciusko.

> Plumbing and electrical work at Washington-Kosciusko and Jefferson.

Still to be completed, McArdle said, is the stage at Jefferson Elementary. He said left-over funds will go to projects identified by the district’s facilities task force.
