WINONA, Minn. — Deputies brought a man to the Winona jail from LaCrosse, where he was reported to have told hospital nurses that he had a gun and was prepared to go to Winona and shoot up police. Nurses said he also talked about killing neighbors, although it was unclear whether that would be in Winona or LaCrosse. He also was suicidal, the nurses said.  Tydon Wesley Scott, age 26 was booked at the Winona jail about 7:40 p.m. Originally he was held in LaCrosse where nurses said he had shared his ideations in what seemed a manic state.
