WINONA, Minn. – The Saint Anne nursing home and related Callista Court assisted-living facility plan expanded patios for residents to get outside more. Saint Anne announced a $230,000 fund drive for the projects. Fundraiser Mark Metzler said many residents have been stuck inside to help avoid the spread of COVID-19. “It’s nice to move ahead now and give them something to look forward to and some place to go,” he said. The Saint Anne’s patio was built in 1962, the Callista patio in 199o.
