DALLAS, Texas – American Airlines, which flies into LaCrosse and Rochester, will ban companion animals gradually over the next few weeks. The airline said trained service dogs are allowed free, but other pets will have to pay a fee and be hauled in the cargo hold or in an under-seat kennel.
